How we really protect your privacy.
We don’t store your national ID number, photo, or name. Our app checks your passport, confirms your age, and discards the rest. After that, you can prove your age anywhere in a privacy-friendly way. Nobody knows it’s you — only that your age checks out. Wherever you use 18up: you stay anonymous. Nobody is watching along: no log files, no data, 100% secure.
How 18up works
- At setup, we read the NFC chip on your passport or ID — just once.
- We then check only your age.
- All data (name, national ID number, photo, and date of birth) is deleted immediately.
- From now on, you can safely share your age anywhere.
